Setting up Sato printers to communicate bi-directional

A customer has a new Sato printer and cannot set the printer up to communicate bi-directionally via the serial port

Sato did not document the dip switch settings for setting the printer to STATUS 2

Sato printer models, CL4XX, CL6XX, M8400RV and M8459S/60S/85S/90S, the DSW1-7 and DSW1-8 switchs must be set to ON position for STATUS 2. For Sato M5900m M8400/8/6/S and M8450 printer models, STATUS 2 is set from the front panel.
