When the open format dialog window appears, there is no visible thumbnail preview and no file information. |

There are two possible causes. One, if the format was originally created under the 16-bit version of EASYLABEL, it must be opened and saved in EASYLABEL 32 in order for thumbnail and file information to be created. The second reason could be: If both a 16-bit and 32-bit version are residing on the same PC and the "Info" button is turned off under 16-bit, then the thumbnails and info for 32-bit will also disappear. This is because both programs use the same label.ini file to get this information. EASYLABEL 32 does not provide an option to turn thumbnails off or on, so if they get turned off, you must use the 16-bit version to turn them back on.
From within the 16-bit version of EASYLABEL, click "Add, Change or Erase a Format" then click "Change an Existing Format". The Open Format window will appear. Highlight a format and click the "Info" button. File information should now appear. Open the format so that this information is recognized. Thumbnails and file info should now reappear in EASYLABEL 32. If the 16-bit version is deleted with "Info" turned off, you can re-install it and turn "Info" on or edit the label.ini file in order to turn thumbnails on in EASYLABEL 32. |
