This problem may occur with the following scenario: A format was created using EL under Windows 95/98. The operating system was upgraded to NT or 2000. The format was created for a Windows driver and within the format specifications the Additonal Options was set to YES allowing the user to edit printer device settings. Since printer device drivers (Windows drivers) are different from one operating system to the next, the file size of the device settings is different. If EL 32 found a difference in size, it would still attempt to use some of the settings. This is where the problem would be. Some settings that needed to be carried over couldn't and EL 32 didn't know what to do with them causing the error message.
There is a file called "labelpp0.dll" with a date of 08/09/00 located in q:\tech\fixes. This file can be sent to the customer to replace the existing file in the EL 32 directory. It is recommended that the customer upgrade to version 3.3.0.100 before attempting to use this file because the file was created specifically for this version. All versions following 3.3.0.100 will include this corrected labelpp0.dll file. |
