When choosing a driver in EASYLABEL that has a (w) after it, indicating a Windows driver, the program crashes. |
The Windows driver could actually be a driver for NT/2000 and it is being used under Windows 95/98/ME. This is evident when running Label View 6.04 and installing any driver through Label View under Windows 95/98/ME. These are actually drivers created for Windows NT/2000, but appear to EASYLABEL and all other applications including the Windows 95/98/ME OS to be ordinary Windows drivers.
If other Windows applications besides EASYLABEL crash when trying to configure or print to these drivers, then they are likely NT/2000 drivers being used with 95/98/ME. To test this, simply attempt to get the Printer's Properties from within Windows by choosing Start | Settings | Printers and then right-clicking on the suspect printer and choose Properties. Windows will crash verifying that the driver was created for NT/2000 but you are trying to use it under 95/98/ME. |
