When adding a graphic field to EL and the program crashes when the desired graphic (.bmp) is chosen.

This particular bitmap contains garbage information that EL does not recognize. This causes the program to crash. It may also cause EL to crash every time that you try to add a graphic field to the format. This is because EL is defaulting to the last accessed graphic, which was the corrupt bitmap.

To get EL to stop crashing, edit the file c:\windows\label.ini and change the "picturename=" line to reflect a valid graphic file. This will allow you to avoid the crash when trying to add a graphic field. To correct the corrupt bitmap, edit the bitmap in a graphics editor, save it as a .tif and then save it as a .bmp again. This seems to remove any corrupt information allowing EL to open the file.
