Using Windows 2000, NT, or XP and trying to enter the Registered Trademark character, the character changes to a lower case R when the OK button is pressed.

Codepage 850 needs to be installed.

In the Windows Control Panel, click Regional Options | Set Default | and change the option in the "appropriate locale" drop down menu to English (Canada). After making this change, reboot the PC.
