Parallel Port communications Settings for EasyLabel and Windows Drivers

Under some operating systems, setting the parallel port to ECP or EPP will cause problems in EasyLabel and Windows drivers. Especially when bi-directional parallel is used. These include sentinal problems and jobs not leaving the print queue.

EasyLabel uses 'nibble mode' for bi-directional parallel communications. This is part of the IEEE-1284 spec to allow the use of a standard uni-directional parallel cable for bi-directional communications.

In the BIOS select the Normal, Centronics, Centronix, Compatible or Standard setting for the Parallel port insterad of ECP or EPP.
