When calling one of the EASYLABEL Active X objects the user receives a message that states: “ELABELOCX.ocx or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid”.

The user has installed the EASYLABEL 32 Network version on a computer that already has a standalone EASYLABEL 32 full version installed. After the installation of EL 32 Network the user then proceeds to uninstall the full version of EASYLABEL, the Active X objects are also uninstalled automatically. Even though the Active X objects are registered to the last version of Easylabel that has been installed, an uninstall of either version will corrupt the Active X objects. When the Active X objects are called, the user receives the above message.

Verify EASYLABEL 32 full version is not installed on the machine. Uninstall and reinstall EL 32 Network version. The Active X objects are now installed and registered correctly.
