WkSvW32 is the WIBU-Key Network Server application. WkSvW32 can be run on Windows 95/98/ME and Windows NT/2000/XP/Server 2003. This application can be started in two different modes:
As application (default).
As service that's started automatically when the system is started
NOTE: It is only possible to run WkSvW32 as a service on Windows NT/2000/XP/Server 2003. On Windows 95/98/ME WkSvW32 can only be run in application mode.
After startup, the WIBU-Key Network Server icon appears in system tray. The icon will change to show activity such as license requests as shown.

Right-clicking on the icon
will
display a pop-up context menu with the following options:
Status -- Displays the server status window which contains all client requests and status messages.
Start as Service -- Starts the WIBU-Key Network Server as service.
Stop Service -- Stops the WIBU-Key Network Server service.
Install/Uninstall Service -- Install/unistall the WIBU-Key Network Server service.
Logging -- Logs server status messages to %program files%\wibukey\server\wkserver.log.
Rescan WIBU-BOXes -- Rescans all connected WIBU-Keys This option should be executed after a WIBU-Key update, or if a newly connected WIBU-Key should been used by the WIBU-Key Server.
Help -- Opens the WIBU help file.
About -- Displays a window containing information about the WIBU-Key Network Server
Exit -- Exits the WIBU-Key Network Server application.
