Adding
Additional Licenses to EASYLABEL 4 Multi-User
The procedure for adding licenses to an already
existing installation of EASYLABEL 4 Multi-User is much like the original
activation. Follow
these steps:
Locate the machine
on the network that was designated as the License Server. This machine
would have the LM Server software installed on it and also the Multi-User
Sentinel Key attached to the parallel port.
Be sure that the
LM Server software is running. For
Windows 95b/98/ME the license server will show up on the task bar as "Sentinel
LM". For Windows
NT/2000/XP you should see "lservnt" running in the Task Manager
display.
Next, you need to the new license. Insert the 3.5"
diskette labeled "License Code Add-On Disk". There are two ways
to activate the license (choose ONLY
ONE method below):
Using the EASYLABEL 4 CD
Insert
the CD into the CD-ROM drive. The setup procedure should automatically
begin. If it doesn't, choose Start |
Run and type: D:\setup
(where d:\
is the CD-ROM drive) and click OK.
Navigate
to the EASYLABEL Multi-User menu. Once there, choose
Activate Your License.
Be
sure that the "License Code Add-On Disk" is in the floppy disk
drive and click OK.
If
the installation is completed successfully, you will receive a message
stated that the licenses were added. If the installation is not successful,
review the procedure making sure that you followed the steps correctly.
To
check that the number of available users have increased, you can run the
lsmon.exe utility located on the
"License Code Add-On Disk".
OR
From the "License Code Add-On Disk"
Insert
the "License Code Add-On Disk" into the floppy disk drive.
Run
the License.bat file by double-clicking
on it.

the installation is completed successfully, you will receive a message
